MUSIC RISING ALL OVER SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL

Hi everyone. We just returned from the Sundance Film Festival where Music Rising was a hit once again. At the Gibson Guitar Lodge we offered celebrities from everywhere the chance to pick up th the Epiphone Music Rising guitar and play it during our jam sessions. People Magazine and Entertainment Tonight were there to capture it all among other media so you should be seeing some great coverage coming out this week. From Justin Timberlake to Jared Leto, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Arnold, Ella Fanning, Donovan Leitch from Camp Freddy, Mandy Moore and so many others, they all loved the Guitar which benefits Music Rising. You can purchase one with 100% of the proceeds going to Music Rising by going to www.musiciansfriend.com. And on February 5th, 2007 there will be ONLY 9 of these guitars which were signed by The Edge himself during the Superdome re-opening going on sale. Once those are gone there won't be anymore. Music Rising T-Shirts Now on Sale at Hard Rock

Hello Everyone. Beginning this week you can purchase the exclusive Music Rising t-shirts at all Hard Rock locations worldwide with proceeds benefitting the charity. Of course they are still available on the U2.com site but now you can also go to your local Hard Rock and buy one, two, three and more if you like. It is the same exact shirt worn by The Edge during Grammys 2006, during the Louisiana Superdome Re-opening Pregame show and so many other performances throughout the world. You can also purchase them on line. We are very excited to have Hard Rock as our partner and for their great support for Music Rising. Some other upcoming news which is also very exciting includes a major April auction event in New York to benefit Music Rising so check back at this blog for more details as the plans come together. And don't forget, keep your fingers crossed for the upcoming Grammys because "The Saints Are Coming" was nominated. What a great statement that would be for the people of the Gulf Region if it won.
